Congrats to our own Pete Lyman who received the Shadow Hills Twin Falcon Award for Excellence in Engineering earlier this month at the 2009 AES Convention. Pete was selected by Shadow Hills’ Peter Reardon for his work on the wildly successful and critically acclaimed album “Nouns” (Sub Pop), by our friends No Age.
Pete was in great company as engineers Chris Lord-Alge (for his work on Green Day’s “21st Century Breakdown”), Michael Brauer (for his work on Regina Spektor’s “Far”) and Tomaso Colliva (for his work on Muse’s “The Resistance”) also received awards this year.
Sadly, the award itself, which is a double-headed falcon designed by Reardon, is not present in the photo at right, but check back soon for an updated image.
Congrats Pete!
