G4 TV recently stopped by the mastering suite at Infrasonic Sound to talk vinyl with Principal Mastering engineer and studio Co-Owner, Pete Lyman. He took a break from cutting a forthcoming 12-inch for the band Mini Mansions (Ipecac) to explain the process and offer up some mastering tips. Check it out here:

Congrats to Best Coast whose debut album Crazy For You (Mexican Summer) debuted at number 36 on the Billboard 200 chart last week. We’re equally as stoked for our own Pete Lyman who mastered the album, for both CD and vinyl, this past June. Read more about the session here.
