Congrats to WAVVES and our very own Eric Palmquist for making it onto Rolling Stone’s Top 50 albums of 2011! Eric recorded, mixed and produced the latest WAVVES EP at Infrasonic Sound this past summer, to great acclaim.

Los Angeles’ own Batwings Catwings have been busy working on their forthcoming 7-inch, which was recorded and mixed by Eric Palmquist and mastered by Pete Lyman here at Infrasonic Sound earlier this fall.

The five-piece just released the music video for their track “Radio” – it looks and sounds great! Check it out below.

Los Angeles based trio Wreck of the Zephyr are no strangers to Infrasonic Sound. The guys tracked, mixed and mastered their debut LP, For Helen, here at the studio this past summer and its release date is finally upon us.

Our friends Superhumanoids stopped by last week to track drums with Darren Weiss (Papa, Girls). Not only did everything sound great, with Michael Harris and Infrasonic’s Eric Palmquist at the helm, but everything looked great too. Check out some images from the band’s Instagram for an inside look.

Death To Anders, who are currently recording at Infrasonic, and George Glass, who have previously recorded at Infrasonic, are playing TOGETHER at The Satellite on Tuesday, June 21st!

Los Angeles based Batwings Catwings are set to jump back in the studio this July, but in the meantime, the band is stirring up buzz for their latest EP, Peacock Collection (via Indian Gold Records).

Pitchfork Announces new Fool’s Gold Album – Recorded at Infrasonic

Los Angeles’ own Fool’s Gold were in the studio last month with Principal Recording Engineer Eric Palmquist working on their forthcoming album, Leave No Trace. Set for release August 16th via IAMSOUND, the album was just previewed on Pitchfork, including a video trailer complete with scenes from the studio and our ‘hood. Check out the full story here.
